Our museum has a rich history, in terms of both its historical transformation and its architecture. Considered among the most beautiful neo-Gothic churches in Montreal, it boasts exceptional stained-glass windows, a wooden vault with carved angels and an organ rebuilt by the famous Casavant company. In other words, the MUMAQ has quite a story to tell!
DiscoverThe MUMAQ’s rich collections illustrate the history of Québec and its cultural evolution. By exploring everyday items dating from the colonial era to today, we invite you to discover how our history has been shaped by the know-how of local artisans.
The MUMAQ is a unique collection of unique pieces. Nearly 14,000 historical and contemporary craft objects shape the timeless.
